I don't think I care for the wiki. It seems to have a lot of potential to be a platform for rude behavior. Of course it depends on the personalities that are having the exchange but, to be able to change what a person has presented for discussion through deletion or altering the text doesn't strike me as the best way to share ideas or enjoy meaningful debate.

I love the wiki! I use 2 wikis at work, one for the reference librarians and one for the circulation supervisors. It's a great way to carry on a discussion about a particular issue. Everytime someone comments on the wiki all registered users receive an email giving them the new comment and a link to the wiki that you just click on and add your comment. It's so much more efficient than a string of emails where some repliers don't reply to all and parts of the discussion are not included in the email chain.
